MainSource Health Savings Accounts are a great way to save for out-of-pocket medical expenses. If you are under 65 and participate in a High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP)1, these accounts provide a practical way to set aside money for qualified medical expenses that aren't covered by your health plan. Monies may be contributed by the account owner, family members or the owner's employer2. There are limits, however, to the annual contribution amounts. Please contact your personal banker at your local MainSource branch for more information.
1You are eligible as long as you are not a dependent on someone else's tax return or eligible for Medicare.
2Must be cash contributions, no stock or other property.
