9/27/2012

MainSource Bank, Greensburg, Indiana – Daryl R. Tressler, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced today that MainSource Bank has entered into an agreement with Krumme and Brock Investment Services, LLC, located in Seymour, Indiana, to acquire the assets under management, as well as its’ employees effective September 24, 2012. They will join MainSource Investment Services, which operates within MainSource Bank’s Wealth Management division.

Krumme and Brock Investment Services is currently an independent firm offering securities through Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. Financial Advisors and firm owners, Galen Krumme and Cliff Brock, in addition to the Registered Administrative Assistant, Kimberly Wetzel, will join the MainSource team immediately. The investment services team has more than 50 years of combined experience in the financial services industry and has served Seymour and the surrounding areas for more than a decade. Krumme and Brock’s current office location, 311 N. Ewing Street in Seymour, will continue to house the investment services team until MainSource Bank’s permanent banking location is complete in 2013.

Mr. Tressler stated, “We are excited to announce the partnership between MainSource Investment Services and Krumme and Brock Investment Services. With MainSource Bank’s recent expansion into the Seymour market, the addition of such an established and respected investment services firm only deepens our commitment to offering a complete line of financial products and services to the area. Because both firms offer securities through Raymond James Financial Services, current clients of Krumme and Brock will experience no changes in their accounts or services. Galen, Cliff and Kimberly are a welcome addition to the MainSource team and will continue to service their clients as they have in the past.”

Mr. Krumme added, “We are pleased to have found a partner in the financial services industry that so closely matches our philosophy and business model.  MainSource prides itself on hiring locally and offering the best in products and services and we decided to join forces and become part of their team. Together, we can provide the wide range of products, coupled with the local, personalized service that is often missing in today’s financial services world. The ease of retaining our partnership with Raymond James Financial Services makes this a tremendous win for our clients, as well.”

More detailed information is forthcoming for all existing clients of Krumme and Brock Investment Services regarding the partnership.
